Simple machine. Good coffee. Some drawbacks
2 of 2 found this helpful This coffee maker is great if you want a good cup of coffee right now. My issue with it is it does not have any kind of timer and it is only 10 cups. I added a timer to the outlet. They say don't do this because the water oxidizes or something but this seems a bit silly to me. I don't use filtered or bottle water so I can't imagine tap water sitting out overnight will matter. The one issue with letting the water sit out is the container is not very well sealed and occasionally I will find a fly or insect in the water reservoir in the morning. It does make good coffee. Is it 2 or 3 times better than my $100 14-cup CuisineArt coffee maker with a timer? Hmm... I'm not sure.
