Tweed awesomeness in a small package.
1 of 2 found this helpful This little amp is an excellent practice or recording tool. Simple to operate, and with only a tone and volume control, dialing in a great sound is easy. It doesn't do modern rock music, but it will satisfy those who play blues, or most anything that requires a sparkling clean sound. Not much larger in size than a tweed Champ, it sounds much larger and is much louder.
This amp takes pedals well, and it's so portable that you might be tempted to gig with it. And you might if your drummer doesn't hit too hard. Clean headroom is in short supply, but I can't imagine this amp won't please someone who knows great tone when he hears it, and understands its volume limits.

Disappointing waste of good vinyl.
As much as I'd love to give a glowing review, I can't. The reason for this is because the material isn't what I was expecting. I'm familiar with all of the titles on this album from prior experience on other compilations.
All of the material on this particular album seem to be early versions of later releases. The shame of it is that it's a waste of great, heavy weight vinyl. Oh well. Win some, lose some.

Great tone and versatility in a well executed pedal.
An excellent choice for someone who is looking for an overdrive in the Tube screamer family, but without the intense midrange hump. The versatility of this pedal is primarily in its included boost mode, which can be used either before, or after, the boost. Before, for more distortion, or after, for the same tone, but louder. The boost can be used on its own as well, which is a very handy feature.
I wish all effects pedals had the jacks located at the leading edge as this one does, as it allows for close placement on a crowded board. This pedal, like all Fulltone products, is very sturdily constructed, and it seems as if a 9 volt battery will last indefinitely.
I'm glad I made this purchase, and I'd recommend it highly to someone looking for a great sounding, well made product that will handle most classic rock tones with aplomb.
