Quick-build small-scale starship

Nice 1/2500 Klingon Battlecruiser from Star Trek (original series). It comes partly pre-painted, which makes it a VERY quick build. The only negative for me is that it only comes with stickers instead of water-slide decals, but I have some generic Klingon decals, so not a deal breaker. I also plan on filling the prominent seam on the upper hull and repainting the model, but that's my choice.

Great to have a C-17 in 1/700!

I have been wanting a C-17 in 1/700 for a while to go with the other 1/700 large aircraft Skywave released many years ago - C-5, C-141, B-52, etc. This kit was easy to assemble, and comes with positionable rear ramp. It also includes a Global Hawk! Anyone with minimal modeling experience will have no trouble building this kit.

Welcome Kit Reissue

I have been looking for one of the Virginia kits for a while, but the prices were pretty high since the kit had been discontinued for many years. Luckily it has been reissued, and I was happy to finally have one. Dragon has done a great job offering a Virginia cruiser in its' late configuration with Tomahawk launchers on the former helicopter deck. My only nitpick (and it is minor) is that I wish they had offered an option for the earlier hanger elevator. If I can find some good pictures, I may try to add this myself (even though by all reports it leaked so badly they were glad to get rid of it). The kit is crisply molded and goes together quickly with the option for waterline or full hull, I'm glad this one is available again. I may get another to do a VLS conversion (witch was never done to the real ships, but that's the fun of modeling).
