Easy to use

It is very light weight, stores away easily and is fast to use. It picks up just about anything dry as long as you don't expect to pick up tiny-flat liny after picking up a popcorn kernel on it. I absolutely would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the difficulty getting the strips started to pull off and discard. Usually it is not a bother - but brother when you're in a hurry it's a monumental drag.

What to do When You Can't Reach the Lamp Switch

We recently had some shelves built in next to the bed. There is no need for a night stand anymore but I could not reach the lamp switch as the lamp now sits on a shelf just above the head of the bed. Stanley 31324 Cord Max Handy on/off Switch Cord to the rescue. The Stanley extension is plugged into the electrical outlet that has the switch at the door to turn on and off and the lamp is plugged into the Stanley Cord Max. So at night when we enter the bedroom the lamp is turned on at the switch plate by the door and turned off with the Stanley Cord Max Extension - in the morning the reverse action takes place. The on/off button box is close to an inch wide (my estimate) and was easy to attach to the side of the bookshelf with double sticky tape.

Room for everything
