Extension hose is incorrect size

I open the box yesterday. I tried it and noticed pretty strong suction. I was about to complete the first job and needed to use the extension attachment. However, the main extension pipe attachment does not fit on the hose I could use only the small attachment without extension. The size seems to be incorrect. How can you put into each other two hoses that are the same identical size? It does not make sense. They may have included the wrong size extension! I will call the number on the instruction book and see what happens, otherwise I need to return the item. I will keep you updated and revise this description if needed.
