The car is perfect
Everything was just right about this car. It was well-packed in the original package, and the only clue that it wasn't new was the cardboard package. Top notch. I was buying it along with some other units for my grandson's train set. He's going to love it!

I love this locomotive!
I am delighted with the Atlas 10002598! It came packaged like gold bars from Fort Knox - it was actually bolted to a part of the package. The level of detail is amazing, the colors and Union Pacific markings are gorgeous. I have NCE Power Cab for my digital control, and only one other locomotive, so I wondered if I would have any trouble with setting up this locomotive - I did not. If fact when I set it on the rails the NCE was powered up, and the bell on the GP40-2 started ringing, so I knew it worked. Very smooth, very powerful - it pulls as many cars as I have up my steep grade with no problem.
The look and feel match what I've experienced - this is a nice machine. I highly recommend it.
