Compact design, Lightweight and great features
4 of 4 found this helpful The microscope is smaller than the usual microscope of the same design, compact and lightweight
The 10x Eyepieces are good, but have some chromatic and spherical aberration
The 25x eyepieces are similar in quality and performance.
Both can be focused individually and the eye separation can be adjusted with ease. Also can focus the picture on the camera AND the eyepieces simultaneously.
Objective revolver is solid and well built and is DIN standard
The objective lenses give sharp images, alas they don't have a flat FOV.
The center is focused and suffer from spherical aberration. But they work great for histological and histo-pathological slides
LED Lighting is adjustable and the condenser is focusable.
The camera is rather compact as well, and gives sharp crisp images.
The software is easy to use and has a lot of tools built-in
The stage is rock-solid and holds focus perfectly. The two axis motion is a bit stiff, but gives great control over the slide movement.
The 5Mpix camera performs rather well and has auto exposure and white balance
Prisms are good and give great images with no additional artifacts.
