    RigExpert AA-1400 Antenna Analyzer (0.1 - 1400 MHz) - USA Dealer! -

    RigExpert AA-1400 Antenna Analyzer
I find this to be a really good antenna analyzer, especially for VHF & UHF antenna systems. It's a lot better than the MFJ-269C I also own. Although it's a bit pricey, I think it's worth it for the high quality, reliable data, and ease of use. Single SWR measurements are readily displayed on the color LCD as a moving red bar graph. Sweep plots of SWR curves and R,X impedance values are also easy to make, and saved to internal memory if desired. I found it easy and intuitive to use, and didn't have to read the user's manual. But when you do read the manual, you find out it does a lot more. You can connect it via USB to a PC and use the software provided on the CD to display the sweep graphs, or update the firmware with new releases. A very good feature is its TDR (time domain reflectometer) mode, which can find faults anywhere along a feed line in distance units, given the feed line velocity factor. I found this very useful to track down a fault in a complex system, sharing a single feedline between 3 bands (2m 70cm 23cm) with triplexers at each end, and a module inserting DC power for mast-mounted preamps also inserted into the feed line. Another useful feature is the "SWR 2 Air" mode, where you leave the analyzer connected to the feed line in the radio room, while you climb up the mast and tune the antenna for minimum SWR by listening to the audio signal received on a hand-held radio clipped to your belt. You select the frequency the AA-1400 transmits on. It's light and very portable, and ready to use up the tower when slipped into it's strapped pouch; also it's color LCD is easy to read in sunlight. Other measurement duties are cable length measurement (given the velocity factor), or cable velocity factor (given the length), or finding lossy bad coax cable sections, or making 1/4 or 1/2 wavelength stubs, or finding the characteristic impedance of a coax cable. You can set the correct velocity factor, depending on what coax or type of line, and choose either 25, 50, or 75 ohm impedance for the system you are measuring in the setup menu. It uses 3 AA NmH batteries (supplied with the analyzer, including a charger unit) which last at least 8 hours of frequent use. You can also use alkaline AA batteries too. If you are a frequent VHF/UHF antenna experimenter, or you are often helping other hams with antenna setups and fault finding, I would say that this analyzer is worth it. Together with a set of low-wattage dummy loads, I'd say that this antenna analyzer fits the bill.

Thank you for the excellent lens with accessories and case, it's in perfect condition, like new. Test shots on my Canon 5D mkIV show excellent auto focus and very sharp images.
OCXO benchmark frequency standard 8 port output 10MHz Distribution amplifier
    Dec 25, 2018
Very stable 10MHz reference oscillator with 8 separate distribution outputs
I've tested this 10MHz reference OCXO against a GPSDO using a 10 digit Agilent 53181A frequency counter, and after tuning it to 10MHz as closely as possible, and after about 4 days of settling in, I can say that it did not drift more than 10milliHz (1x10e-9) over the next 5 days.
