Dear Martin
I am a retired high school English teacher (as of this past June); I learned that this novel was assigned as summer reading and decided to read it out of a sense of solidarity for the students and colleagues I know so well. I found it engaging, informative, and timely, all clearly important foundational points for any high school classroom. As soon as I finished reading it, I ordered a second novel from this same insightful author!

Signature Scent!
3 of 3 found this helpful I purchase April Violets for my sister at least twice each year. It is her signature scent! According to her, she is frequently complimented and it makes her so happy to keep it in her life! Apparently, it became difficult to find (but her baby sister is a stealthy shopper and knew to look on eBay)!
