a beautiful film
I saw an ad for this film in a catalogue and decided it looked interesting. I was astounded. It is quite beautiful. The photography is sumptious. The story is believable and involving. It is like so many foreign films in that it doesn't explain every last detail and leaves much up to the viewers imagination. It is a gay love story but again it is not.It is a story of a man coming to terms with himself, his desires and future wants. There are grand vistas of the French countryside and closeups of tender and moving faces. I wholly recommend this film to any one who liked " A Good Year" or " Under The Tuscan Sun" A lovely story of people finding what is important in life in beautiful surroundings.

More fascinating insights fro the current master of pre-history mysteries
1 of 1 found this helpful Graham Hancock is well known for a series of books; Fingerprints Of The Gods, Heaven's Mirror, Underworld and more. His books deal with compelling mysteries of advanced civilisations lost to out present knowledge. This book is called a sequel to Fingerprints of the gods. But but stands on it's own. It is not a rehash of formerly presented theories. Mr. Hancock may make reference to previous statements but does not spend your time recycling them. He is a most interesting writer as he presents Ooparts ( out of place artifacts) and new discoveries for the world to see. He does not come across as a preacher telling you this is the way things were. He let's you decide. He gives the evidence and you are the jury on deciding the truth. I have found all his books extremely informative. The photographs taken by his wife are a great addition to the stories. To see these things in a photo right in front of you opens the world. I have been luck to have visited many of these places, but for those not lucky enough to stand in front of these anomalies, the photos are a great aid. Even if you are a non-believer that takes everything you have been told in books and school as verbatim fact, Try one of his books and maybe his insights will make you question what you think you know. I really feel we are all here to learn as much as our minds can handle and why not think about something different. If you don't agree, that is fine. I am sure Mr. Hancock will not lose any sleep over naysayers. He has plenty of followers and that amount grows with each new book and exciting revelations. Open your thoughts. You won't regret it.

Great comic show
Had never heard of this show till we saw a preview on the DVD set of Grace & Frankie Season 2. It immediately caught our attention. Have always been a fan of Nick Nolte. He is brilliant with good material. And he has it here. The show is witty, timely and thought provoking. It has laugh out loud moments and moments of pathos. An extremely well made, produced, written and acted show. I certainly hope it is around for a while. It has been renewed for a second season which is a very welcome fact. Try it , you`ll like it!!!
