Bass CryBaby
This does not sound like a traditional Cry Baby. I watched a video where they said they wanted it to sound more like an envelope filter, which it does. The best thing about this wah is that there is no engage switch, you just put your foot on it and it starts working. I can't say I like the sound better than my vintage Morley, but that thing is huge and the on-off switch is a pain, so it will probably end up on the live pedal board.

Great recorders for writing/demo
I can't believe I paid $500 for my first cassette 4 track back in 1986. If I had this back then my mind would have exploded. It's not as awesome as using a DAW, but if I look at it like recording the "old" way then it's actually quite amazing. The onboard effects are usable and the routing is pretty straightforward. I'm really happy with it. I turn it on and it records, perfect!
