VHS quality on a DVD
3 of 3 found this helpful The series itself is great, but this Mill Creek release is awful. The packaging is cheap, however, I didn't buy this set for the packaging, so no big deal for me. The problem is that the video quality is horrible; it's like watching an old VHS recording that was made over a worn out tape. It really is hard to watch on a modern big screen TV. I'm reading other reviews mention that the sound is off as well - I've only watched 4 episodes so far and haven't noticed it yet, but there again I'm not sure if I will continue to watch the rest of the episodes from this release. Apparently the older releases (from A&E Home Video?) were better quality. I'll definitely not buy another Mill Creek release of anything.
