GM hose disconnect tool
1st Purchased the plastic version of the 2 piece GM disconnect tool and they are hinged together with a small piece of plastic between the 2-pieces to hold them together and it broke and lost half of the part somewhere on the back of the firewall of a 1999 GMC Sierra 3-door 5.3 liter extended cab. This metal GM disconnect tool was to remove 2-heater hoses off the heater core inside the engine compartment of 1999 GMC Sierra, and also the quick disconnect GM tool was used to remove the radiator recovery tank hose off a 2003 Cadillac Deville. Note went to Napa, O’Riley’s and Auto Zone to purchase off the street and nothing was in stock. Spend the extra 1 to 2 dollars for this metal version.
