One of the very few champions of freedom and democracy of the 1900's.
My interest in true democracy and resistance to facism led me to this book. I was rewarded amply.
These letters were written by one of the twentieth century's bravest and most brilliant leaders, poets, playwrights and philosophers. This book of Mr. Havel's weekly letters (the only ones he was allowed by prison authorities to write) testifies to his genius with insight deeper even than his plays and poetry. If one would discover a true champion of freedom and democracy in the western world, circa the 1900's, look no further than this collection.
I would supply every government office in the world with multiple copies of this wonderful, if at times painful, record.

Tuners from China
These tuners seem well beyond adequate. Very nice looking and hold the tuning well. Couldn't ask for more - especially at this price!
