JOHN DEERE TY26583 Deluxe Wheel Spinner Suicide Knob for 1.25" Steering Wheels

Be prepare to tap the holes to the next largest size.

You'd think a product from John Deere would be a quality item and fit their mowers perfectly. However, this is not the case. I purchased this spinner for my JD X738. Before purchasing I measured the steering wheel with my digital calipers to verify I was buying the correct size which is 1 1/4". When I received the item and attempted to installed it the spinner would not say it position. So naturally I continued to tighten the bolts and while doing so they stripped. Being a machinist for my entire life I had the tools needed to rethread the holes to the next nominal size. These new next size bolts seem to torque enough to secure the spinner. As of this writing I haven't used the mower to determine if the spinner will stay in position.

Worth the price

The sensors alone are worth the price. For front wheel sensors you'll pay more than this price and it's like you're getting new bearings for free. Highly recommended.
