I bought it to use in summer power outages
1 of 1 found this helpful I use this with Milwaukee M18 12-amp-hour battery and a $20 Ryobi-to-M18 adapter. The 12-amp-hour battery last about 18 to 19 hours on low and 5 to 6 hours on medium. I haven't tried it on high but I imagine I would get only 2 hours. It's quite loud on high, acceptable on medium, and almost musical sounding ('Hmmmm...") on low, not annoying at all. Blows a wide swath of air, great for small gatherings. You must remove the battery or battery+adapter to plug in the cord. Highly recommended.

The last camera I'll ever need
I now own two Olympus Pen E-P5s: one silver with the best-of-breed VF-4 electronic viewfinder, the other white with a compact VF-3 viewfinder. Each time I hold one of my E-P5s, I feel as though I'm a rich man holding a vintage jewel. The camera's physical controls are amply provided and well-placed. The E-P5 is as capable as a midrange OM-D. It's also more versatile: You can remove the (optional) viewfinder to pack small or shoot more discreetly.
While the E-P5 lacks the Pen F's panache and built-in viewfinder, it has a built-in flash and costs about a third of price of a used Pen F.
Moreover, the E-P5 weighs only 2 or 3 ounces more than a contemporary Pen Light: An E-PL7, E-PL8, or E-PL9. The E-PL7 and E-PL8 lack a built-in flash; the E-PL9 won't let you use an electronic viewfinder. And no E-PL has the E-P5's dual control wheels. All in all, the E-P5 is a stand-out bargain.

A great match for mirrorless lenses
After buying one of these Tiffin Series VII 7 step-up adapters, I quickly bought two more. With 46mm threads, the retainer provides retro-looking, minimalist protection against fingerprints and knocks for my Sigma 30/2.8, Sigma 60/2.8, and Panasonic 20/1.7 lenses. Tiffen made the base (the adapter) in silver and in black, so make sure you pick the base you prefer. Or do as I did, and get both colors and experiment. For a bit deeper protection, screw-in the retainer. Many other Micro Four Thirds lenses come use 46mm threads; the Series VII 7 makes a perfect match for a retro-looking Olympus Pen.
