Not all I was expecting.
I read several reviews touting this 4-CD box set as a wonderful example of what a box set should be. To me, it is not exceptional. For starters, there are not 4 separate indentations to hold the 4 CDs; there are two Venn Diagram-shaped spaces where the discs are supposed to exist, one disc half overlapping another. The result is nowhere for a disc to fit snugly. Secondly, the songs Blinded By the Light and Spirits in the Night are the singles, the abridged versions which were made for AM radio. These both lack the instrumental sections which are the heart of each song. Thirdly, while there is plenty of previously unreleased music in the set, not much is special. The only song which I really like and is new to me is Salmon Fishing. (A few of the Chapter 3 songs are OK). So while I am happy to already own 9 MMann albums, and have turned a few friends onto early MMann or MMEB over the years, I cannot think of anyone I think would enjoy hearing all of this.

Able to remove mold from jacket
Recently inherited a snazzy 50th anniversary NASCAR jacket when my brother passed away. He had over 100 racing-themed jackets, and his wife was kindly letting each of the family members on hand to pick one out, if interested. My choice had no visible wear and tear, but had mold spots in many places. Probably due to past exposure to rain & snow and/or hanging in a damp closet (which sits above the entry to their crawl space). I never dealt with mold before. I checked the internet for removal ideas. There were many suggestions; a method with saddle soap seemed as straight forward as any. Ordered Fiebing's because reviews implied it was good stuff, and also ordered a horsehair brush as per that internet idea. Overall the job was quite easy, once my lazy self started in. At the end I applied leather conditioner and thought it looked tremendous. Probably 50 minutes of work total. Next day, noticed the areas right near both pockets needed slightly more work and did that. Now, a few days later, jacket (from 1998) looks brand new. I happily recommend Fiebing's.

According to AllMusic Guide, this album was a return to Boz's early rootsy style, ala Boz Scaggs or Boz Scaggs & Band. Instead of the glossy soft ballads he relied on after Silk Degrees. Nope. A majority of the songs are muzak-y ballads.I liked maybe four songs. I don't think they listened to the album.
