great phone
I had one for nearly 7 years before I messed up the outer screen. Battery life is about 7 to 8 days. Nice feel on the buttons you don't get with the newer models. One improvement over the vx5500 model is you can record your own sounds to use as ring tones and alerts.

The 3 piece construction makes it easier...
The 3 piece construction makes it easier to install than the 1-piece Curt I put on my previous van. Still a bear to install on the 2014 Kia Sedona because the muffler is in the way on 1 side. If it weren't for the muffler, it would be really easy to install. Also my 2004 Kia had bolts in the frame holes to keep the threads clean. My 2014 Kia had no bolts so I had to tap the threaded holes to clean the threads up so I could put the new bolts in. Good rack, just wish Kia was better.

Great replacement parts.
Great replacements for the old natural gum rubber covers that have mostly rotted away by now. But they can be difficult to install. They don't stretch like the old gum rubber covers. Some sort of lubrication will make it easier to install. Just don't use grease or oil, anything that won't evaporate quickly. Hairspray can work as a lube and the alcohol will evaporate and leave the sticky substance on the inside surfaces.
