nice little flash, perfect for travel, or as a mutli strobe trigger unit
next stop, wifi and a metal shoe. still, for what I paid for this little gem, its awesome. we'll see how it holds up to travel. (TBD).

fits my sony 600
i bought it hoping my Sony 600mm f/4, which is for a mirrorless camera, would fit, and it does. nicely. Sony doesn't make a softcase, and Canon's softcases are $700. the lens does not fit in a Thinktank international model, so it has to be hand carried, and this helps protect it on that journey. thank you Nikon! note that its much lighter and smaller than any of the hardcases. now if i could just travel somewhere....

Great camera for birding (if you have a long lens)
7 of 7 found this helpful The smaller sensor adds an extra reach to telephoto lenses, and the high capture rate makes this an ideal camera for bird or wildlife photography. The only deficiency of significance that I note is that when you have a lens, or lens plus teleconverter combination, where the max aperture is f8, the number of autofocus points is too limited. (I'm spoiled by my 5D Mark IV, which has all 61 pts available for use at f8). Still, it works quite well and has the same solid feel as any of the flagship models, and many of those same great features.
