Great chain, read the small print

I bought this for an XS750, which the ad said the chain was compatible with. In order for the chain to be fitted, it must be broken to feed through the cylinder head. I assumed that the chain would be shipped broken and would include a master link. Not the case: in order to fit, you either have to break a link ($45 cost for cycle gear chain breaker) and reinstall the same link after feeding through the cylinder housing, or buy a master link to make back up, which are sold separately in packets of 10. Good product, but read all the details before purchasing.

Great value, fits really well.

I installed myself and although the top didn’t come with any installation instructions, there is a YouTube video out there that greatly assists. Took me around 18 hours (being very careful). There were very few cuts and tweaks required during fitting, with exception of the rear window installation, which takes some nerve to cut the hole and staple the cloth to the frame. All in all, great value and the car now looks like new

Can’t beat the fit, form and function for the price.

Fantastic product for the price. Arrived within a week from India. Needed a magnifying glass to read the instructions, but they did the job. Installation was under an hour and the product looks great and performs/is stable when riding. Deflects wind to mid-chest, so provides some protection, but largely cosmetic. Love it.
