Engineering knowledge and experience required. Not for everybody.
The holes through the cooling fins allowing easy access to the four mounting bolts have not been drilled, making fitting fiddly and time consuming.
The compression ratio appears to be higher than with the original parts making it difficult to pull start even with the decompressor used.
Making and fitting a 0.032” spacer under the mounting flange resolved the problem.

Singer 29k Decals
The decals are of good quality and easy to use. They do not, however, contain some of the decorative scrolls that were on my machine before I painted it. There is no variation in the colour of the gold background which was present in the originals. Despite this, they produce a pleasing result and I recommend them.
