Excellent device at very good value for money

Apart from the lack of any documentation (which a quick google of the model number CC-128 resolved), I like this monitor a lot. worked straight out of the box and is very clear to read and interpret. Shows current electricity usage which changes instantly as soon as any appliance turns on so is pretty much real time. Also maps to cost in £ or Euro - but to setup the conversion you need to refer to the instructions on the manufacturer website. Can also pump out info to the internet thru its network interface - but thats for advanced users only... Can apparently monitor 8 individual devices too but you need additional sensors for that so not tried that feature out.

Simple, cheap and effective for DIY home automation

Having started on the home automation journey over a year ago, I find these sonoff devices extremely good value for money. I've used the wifi versions of this same device for 6 months and while they were individually good enough overall the devices on my wifi ballooned too much. Hence I've switched over to zigbee. I've bought 4 of these switches and all were extremely easy to set up and worked within minutes of unpacking and fitting. Seamless integration with my Home Assistant setup. Intend to buy more as and when I expand my network. Only downside is the size, but as long as you plan for that it should be fine. Smaller devices are available but they weren't fit for my purposes. Yes, can get this cheaper from China but the wait was not worth it for me. I
