    Good news… Item arrived safely although package was damaged in shipping and tracking has not been updated. (USPS apologized for condition of package —wet and damaged outer envelope. Fortunately it appears seller wrapped item in plastic before shipping, which preserved item nicely.) In general, transaction and seller were both EXCELLENT.     My item arrived fully intact, fully functional and seemingly brand new! Truth be told, I already have this item. I inherited it from my grandmother, but it was missing the electrical/battery-operated cord. I thought about purchasing a 6V cord from Amazon, but it made more sense and the cost was equivalent to purchasing a whole new hand stitcher.
