Natural Energy Source
Bee Caps are like a strong, quiet health foundation. It's not like a jolt of energy as you might have with caffeine, but rather the steady undercurrent of having enough energy and alertness to cope with long and busy days. You may not realize how much you gain from taking Bee Caps regularly until you run out, and find yourself without them. I like the fact that it is natural ingredients, known to be good for you. The form is a compressed caplet, smooth and easy to swallow, although they may be chewed if desired. These retail for roughly $20 a bottle when sold in restaurants (they are sold in restaurants rather than drug stores because Bee Caps are a food rather than a pharmaceutical), so this is a significant cost savings for most purchasers.

Treasure Trove of Tips and Tools for Teachers
This book is geared for teachers of grades 1-8 in a Christian school, but has many ideas and suggestions that may prove useful in other teaching situations as well. Published in 1986, it assumes no use of technology such as computers; rather it sticks to the basics of a conventional classroom setting. It is especially helpful for a beginning teacher, but is not so simplistic that it will not prove beneficial to a more experienced teacher as well. Guidance is given on relating to parents, church, and school board. In terms of relating to students, an entire unit on "Corrective Teaching" gives insights into issues such as careless work, dawdling, attention-grabbing, rudeness, tattling, and more. Realistic expectations for lesson planning and size of assignments is also covered, along with suggestions for teaching core subjects, as well as music and art. Procedures for teaching memorization and "Sixty Ways to help a Slow Learner" join chapters on operational things such as testing, grading, report cards, bulletin boards, and year-end duties. An excellent Table of Contents, reasonably thorough index, and appendices and bibliography are valuable parts of this 932-page book.
