Good strong brackets
They fit an American-spec 2x4, which is approx. 40mm x 90mm. Note that a British 2x4 is commonly 2" x 4" (50mm x 100mm) which this bracket won't fit! However, this fits the British CLS framing timber, which is 39mm x 89mm.
