Really does help with flakes. Flakes easily brush out after the wash, much more than before when I was using a different shampoo. It’s not harsh and won’t leave his scalp dry which also helps with the flakes. It’s a nice soft foam so you don’t use very much It smells really nice which is a bonus. My son has sensitive skin but this does not bother him at all. Would definitely recommend you give it a try for cradle cap
