NEW Maxxis Race TT DC/EXO/TR 27.5x2.2 tubeless Mountain tire
Jan 07, 2019
Bought it really in the search for speed and it delivered & a side benefit of good braking
I have it(Maxxis Race TT 27.5x2.2)mounted on a i29 rim measured width at riding psi is 2.290” & it’s being used as a rear tire, it rolls incredibly well, & brakes much better than I thought it would and no loss in cornering grip.
Bought it as a Hardpack experiment so far it’s been great, have only gotten to ride on it twice as So-Cal is having a bit of a wet winter(Minions are back on now)but on those 2 rides the Ardent Race shined, it rolls really well has great cornering grip just love hearing how it claws at the ground searching for grip.
It’s mounted as a front tire on a i35 rim & width @ riding pressure it measures 2.430” it’s got a really nice profile this is going to a really great hardpack option for my lower elevation riding, it’s paired with a Race TT on the rear.
