Petzl Tikka XP - great headlamp
Excellent headlamp. Bought this to replace a LED Lenser that I bought for my wife to use on a nine day wilderness walk in Remote SW Tasmania. It only lasted a day before it totally failed and would have left her safety severely compromised had she not been walking with a friend whereby they shared one headlamp between them. The Tikka XP is extremely well made, life depending reliable and has great features. It is very light and has lots of options; three white light options with the highest being remarkably bright for a small headlamp. The red light is excellent because it enables you to see well without disturbing others sleeping. Strobe modes in white and red are great safety features in case of emergency situations. I thoroughly recommend this as a useful, sturdy and reliable outdoor adventure headlamp.
