Handy Kitchen Appliance
1 of 1 found this helpful This Nesco dehydrator has run almost continuously since I got it! Hubby tells everyone he's worried he may be next. We have had so much fun making Grammy candy for the grandkids which is really dehydrated apples, bananas, peaches, strawberries and even a few blueberries and don't forget the jerky! I have also used it to dehydrate herbs, celery and kale from our garden. Just hauled in about 30 pounds of potatoes so I plan on trying it on them too. Everything that comes out of the Nesco American Harvest dehydrator tastes so much better than anything you can purchase in stores. If you are thinking about purchasing a dehydrator, just do your homework and be sure that you purchase one that is at least 500 watts so that you don't have to leave it running for days.
