highest configuration known to me
it supports up to 1.5Gb RAM with 100fsb pentium III 800Mhz
really amazing.
But it supports hard drive disk only up to 32Gb.

last high-end model
1 of 1 found this helpful d-ne20 and d-ne920 are the last high-end sony cd walkmans, I really like the super fine digitally amplified sound. when the clearbass is turned on, the bass is powerful but treble still remains clear. ne20 sounds the same to ne920 because those two models shares the same main PCB. i know it by looking up their service manuals. no phones has that good sound quality. the lcd screen on Ne920 has backlight, so no remote control is needed.

generally good machine
the picture quality is very very good, good for video capture, but its drum does not have self-cleaning roll, the head should be cleaned manually or using cleaning tapes; it plays NTSC only, when a PAL tape is loaded, it does not go through the PAL signal or convert to NTSC; it uses G2 mechanism, it can reverse play at the various speeds but when the gears misaligned, the reparations is very annoying.
