Lovely Long Pong

There must be better sharpeners on the market
2 of 2 found this helpful The product LOOKS sturdy....but the silver "metal looking" base is actually plastic so beware not to overtighten if mounting to a bench....The guard does not slide up that easily and trying seeing the wheel and ensuring the position is correct each tooth you cut...is nearly impossible....you need a good bright light to see under the arm to ensure this is correct...
Mounting poses a little problem as the rear has to overhang a bench because the power lead stops it retracting fully...also not entirely convinced it cuts ALL pitch of chain....pulling the chain along the bar to the next tooth is tedious by releasing the tension on the clamp then trying to slide it through (which not all chains fit properly) then setting it back into the clamp and retightening............maybe it's me being picky.....but also the instructions are VERY small pics and not that self explanatory.....but I could be a muppet....and you might find it different....BUT....it's not to my liking....they aske me to review...I have been as honest as I can as to how I feel about it....if it helps you then all good....if you chose to ignore it....that's your choice too...either way...I am looking for something more positive...
