It does the job!
For the price, this a good deal. Do not expect shiny or painted aluminum. I would say this would be a “B” class in terms of quality. As I mentioned, it’s not of quality material but it’s for sure aluminum. It’s not forged, but I think melted into formed. Still does the job to assist in loosening the filter. Filter should not be tightened too much anyway, I hand tighten my oil filters.

Good Decision Buying MBP 15" with Retina
5 of 5 found this helpful This is my first iOS/Mac based laptop computer. I worked with these type of computers in the University Labs when I was working as a college tutor/aide. All the laptops that I used personally or at work were always been Windows based computers. So when it was time to retire my all loyal Sony Vaio 13" Z-series, I decided to give this MacBook Pro (MBP) 15" with Retina a try. So far it's working great. I use boot camp to work with my Windows programs as I am in the process of transitioning to all Mac software. I am impress how easy it is to work with the MBP operating system. It brought back memories when I used to work with the Apple II back in High school. Overall, aesthetically looks beautiful and modern; The battery life is as close as described; Performance wise excellent plus as I said, I can boot Windows OS with this MBP; Price wise, it is more expensive than most of the laptop in the market, as I always believed in "You get what you pay for". I always like to have a hardware that is high quality, well thought, and great value for the money. In my humble opinion, I made a good decision in buying this MBP 15" with Retina.
