Great surge protection
While talking with my friend that works for the local city power company, he informed me that they tested all major brands of surge protectors with lightening simulation. Panamax was the only brand that sacrificed itself and did not allow the high surge to go past, saving the electronics it protected. This was good enough for me, and Panamax is on all my electronics now.

Simple, effective
2 of 2 found this helpful I have used these in the past. This #3 is same quality, same format. Only complaint I have is that there is no tamper available from the manufacturer for this size. They tout that a tamper is not needed with this size. I beg to differ, and could use one. Thus 4 star vs. 5.
