A friend. I put this sponge filter in and connected it to a 785mph air pump and within a few days my 90 gallon tank is crystal clear and my ammonia level is 0ppm, Nitrates/Nitrites 0ppm and my ph is 7.0
I highly recommend it. But you need a STRONG air pump to get the water to get sucked into the sponge ...
