Chamberlain Clicker

After I purchased the clicker, I found out from reading the installation instructions that it only supported openers built after 1993. Believe it or not, my old 1988 Craftsman model is still working. The instructions were incorrect for my model, but I was unable to make it work using the provided instructions.. Instead, I used the instructions for Type 1 opener which describes a 3-position DIP switch panel. My opener from about 1988 has 2-position DIP switches, so I substituted positions 1 & 3 in the instructions for the actual positions 1 & 2 of my Craftsman opener. IT WORKS GREAT !!!
