Audio Coiled Cable Cord Plug Replacement For Sony MDR-V6 MDR-7506 Headphone

Not oem bu good enough
I knew it wasn’t oem but it was the only affordable replacement. I did notice the wire was aluminum instead of copper like in the oem. But the coils in these cables can become a tangled mess if the get stretched out if you aren’t careful that’s why I needed to replace mine.

I like them because good neutral sound for monitoring, durable and portable. Although these headphones are not perfect. The ear cups don't last after a year the coating beings flaking off. I buy 3rd party deep replacement ear cups that are superior. I'm also not a fan of how much coiling the cable has. You have to be careful with it because if the coiling gets stretched out it's a mess. That brings me to my last criticism I like a cable that can be unplugged so if it gets damaged or you would prefer a straight cable you should be able to swap out. You might be thinking I hate them but I don't I use them everyday and they are invaluable piece of gear.

Good but big
It's a high quality Audio-Technica microphone the only downside is the mic is almost twice the diameter of the AT899, making it more visible, but it doesn't come with the $200 price tag of the AT899. Its also heavier which pulls a little more on clothing its clipped to. The power module is a box instead of the longer narrow tube type. But all in all I'm still happy with it.
