Olympus WS-100
7 of 7 found this helpful I now own 9 of these devices. I'm an old radio news reporter who now does newspaper. The quality of the audio is superb. And the pick-up is phenominal. If I was still doing radio, I could lift sound bites from anyone speaking in the same room and they would be good enough to use on-air.
The fact that it has a built in USB link to my PC makes storage simple and quick.
I change batteries (a single AAA) once a month in my fleet and they work well. I'm still acquiring these when one shows up on E-Bay in my price range. I use two (minimum) to record any meeting I'm covering.
Because more than one meeting can occur at the same time that needs my coverage, I've had as many as six deployed at meetings beyond the one I'm physically covering.
I've tried other digital recorders, including others by Olympus, and none compare with the WS-100.

A model vehicle I never thought I'd ever be able to buy
1 of 1 found this helpful The Mobius 1969 Ford F-100 kit is a new tooling of a short-box pick-up truck.
It's based on the model maker's 1971 F-100 -- also a new kit in 2015.
Mobius is fairly new to this adult model building market, having done '52,'53 and '54 Hudson kits, '55 & '56 Chrysler 300's, and a 1965 Plymouth Satellite, along with the two F-150's.
This kit, of the '69, was a special limited edition release through Model King, which in the past has resurrected old mostly AMT kits.
This kit differs from the companion '71 in several ways. First, it's a model of a down-market vehicle compared to the top-of the line '71. Second, while the '71 comes with a replica of Ford's 351 Cleveland V8 engine, this kit has a Ford Straight-six, one of the few 1/25 scale in-line Ford power plants ever produced. Third, only a few thousand kits were produced and it's now out of production and out of stock.
All of the Mobius kits are superior to virtually anything else on the market, save higher priced Japanese kits.
You can still find this kit on line. It went -- during it's short retail career -- for around $35.00. Likely higher now at on-line auctions.

VCR Purchase
I simply needed a back-up VCR (since they're hard to find new these days. This one met my needs and my price parameters. I'm happy with my purchase.
