XR is really a better Battery
1 of 1 found this helpful Great item. Worth the extra few $. The XR actually provides an improvement in the speed of the current. You can hear the difference when using an XR battery v. non-XR. The motors on saws, drills, etc. run slightly faster. Will only use XR batteries now.

This is the ideal case for your flash. There is even a little pocket inside to hold the plastic stand that comes with the 580EX and 580EX II. Great deal if you need one.
