2 of 2 found this helpful Installation is a breeze. Initially, after installing, there was a vibration from my vinyl window's, not the fault of the unit, but important to know. So, I had to fiddle with the placement to eliminate the vibration. The unit is very very quiet when installed right.
The installation took two hours, but would have taken less time with a helper. The right tools make it much easier. A cordless drill and lots of extra screws and even small bolts to hold everything in place. I have installed one quite similar and its always a balancing act with these. They do "seat' well in the vinyl frame, but the fear of falling, real or perceived, is there. I already have "angle irons" for a bit of extra safety, and I put those underneath to make me feel better.
I cannot emphasize enough the fact that the hardware that comes with the item is adequate but most people will likely reach for a few more screws to make installation perfect.
Only two downsides with this unit as opposed to identical if more expensive units. I installed this in a moderately inaccessible place so turning it off and on requires a reach behind an item. 1. A remote control would have been nice. 2. There is no digital thermostat. Of course, you can find the right temperature and set it and forget it, but I would have opted for the thermostat.
Long story short: its as close to perfect for this size that I have seen. Would've gotten five stars if I paid more for the remote and thermostat.

The Goldberg cut out is inexpensive and of great quality. A terrific addition to a home gym or man-cave.
Life size Goldberg cardboard cut out. Great for the gym. Fun, life-like. One of my dogs thought it was real. Very happy.

I bought the OEM replacement for this filter. It comes in a shrink sealed plastic wrap. Very easy to install.
