Door now does what it's supposed to
0 of 1 found this helpful Purchased to replaced my 41A4373 emitter. My install required some modification. Following may, or may not, apply to your application.
Drilled out the two rivets on the new bracket and s-canned the "clippy" part. Straightened the "feet" on the remaining bracket piece.
Removed original emitter and protective "hood" piece from the wall standoff.
Mounted new bracket piece to outside of old wall standoff (L leg facing away from door).
Mounted new emitter to backside, matching wire polarities (W to W, W w/stripe to W w/stripe) (wires require separation but no stripping using the supplied connectors).
*My 41A4373 emitter and receiver both had green LEDs (emitter has a visible diode looking component in its output window. Receiver does not).
Works great.
No saying your application requires clippy removal but I didn't waste time trying to figure out how to employ it.
