Great magnification options, sturdy frame with excellent LED illumination.
Excellent magnification for soldering computer PRAM batteries and replacement of iPod Nano batteries. The frame and alligator clip bar are sturdy. The housing is balanced. I appreciated having the LED light which can be run on plug or batteries. Highly recommend this item. It costs a bit more than others but is worth it.

One of the last consumer JVC DVD/VHS combo models that should be considered
1 of 1 found this helpful I have owned two of this model. I have been able to record from cable drives and VHS tapes easily. There are timers which allow for automatic recording to both DVD formats and VHS. Editing recorded DVD chapters to eliminate space is also possible.
No similar consumer recorders are being produced now. JVC no longer makes servicing available through factory service centers.
I would highly recommend the brand and model if you can locate one for sale.
