Worthy if you can handle it!
1 of 1 found this helpful The 35mm lens helps you take fantastic images in both bright sunshine as well as low-light conditions. It allows you to use a much wider range of your camera's aperture control and help express your creativity, from portraits to landscapes to everything else.
Be warned though ---- this lens has a fixed zoom point. There's no standing in place and adjusting your zoom back and forth to frame your shot. You'll quickly realize that you'll have to move your feet and body if you want to fit everything in frame, especially when photographing large objects such as buildings.
That being said, if you can handle quickly moving around and being somewhat agile with your feet, then this can easily be a very powerful lens to add to your camera. The images it can help create are incredibly sharp, and working with a 35mm lens has a great "retro" feeling to it as well.
