The box was crushed and broken open upon receipt. The two brackets that mount the CPU cooling fan were cracked, but I was able to replace them from another motherboard I had on hand. After final assembly the board booted right up without any major issues. I hope your wife gets good use out of it. That was my design/gaming computer for some time. Dispite it's age its still a fast machine if you put in the right graphics card. I had an old AMD R9 intalled on it for some time.

Nice budget gaming rig card.
It's a nice replacement over my aging and dying R9-270x but when it gets under load (any 3d game made in the last 5 years) the fans spin up and hear it well over the 3 case fans and the cpu cooler in my rig. I could tune them down with the amd software but the card would start to heat up badly. But does not stop me from wanting to get another to crossfire it.

Great light weight case, if you want to download all your software...
If you plan on putting in an optical drive, look for a different case. The 5.25 bay is very shallow and will not fit a cdrw drive do to the power connector for the main board gets in the way. I might be good for mounting a status display for a cooling system but little else.
