Perfect warming pad design for building my own ski boot heater
1 of 1 found this helpful The auto-retractable wires don't work awesome, and the doubble-a battery powered heat is very subtile, but that wasn't why I bought this. I cut the wires off and wired them to some connectors and a wire harness I made up that ends up at a usb cord which I plug into my battery phone charger that sits in my pocket. It runs at 5volts now, the wamers had to be run in series, and it warms up much better than the AA batteries would. I plan to use them for skiing, because my toes get extremely cold. I had to build my own because I have molded foot-beds and all available products out there require you use their standard cheap foot-bed. This pad fits in my liner, but under my foot-bed and warms my toes, which have always suffered greatly during the cold North East Ski Season.

By far the best garden hose quick adapter fitting
I have had to buy several types of these and these are by far the best. They work just like an air hose quick connect - no rubber gasket to fail, and they work great. They fit standard 3/4 garden hose fittings and along with a small shut off valve, allow you to easily add lengths of hose, change nozzles, and move the hose around as I need to do in my yard. Having a set of 4 allowed me to put the adapter on several hoses, nozzles and silcock's to make it easy to move hose around.

a playmobil float plane? sweet!
I love lake aircraft's and PBY Catalina's so this old discontinued toy is as fun for me as it is for my daughter. Her little figures fit right into the cockpit so she drops it in and I fly it around and back to her. Playmobil always produces quality, realistic toys that I have appreciated since I was little. Love it. Tip, throw some adhesive on the elevator, it falls off easily without it.
