Sylvania DVD player

We've had the player about three weeks now and our seven year old is very happy with it and totally operates it himself. We have no maintenance issues and it has done everything as advertised. DVD players are just historically built very cheap so we will likely have to replace this one within a year - but we've tried two other brands and they fared no better either.
