Manrose MF100T 100mm In-Line Mixed Flow Extractor Fan with Timer

Fantastic

Good fan and more effective at extracting shower mist than previous fans. It’s larger than I expected but easily fitted in the loft. It requires a 3 amp fused double pole spur switch which might confuse a few DIYers particularly the timer version which has 2 live supplies. Might be worth googling how other people have dealt with this. The existing fan just wired directly into the 5amp lighting circuit.

Good replacement

Connector on old unit had corroded and the old driver didn’t work properly for LED bulbs. Pleased to find this replacement rather than buy a full extractor system. The transformer is a little fiddly to connect due to small screws (not easy when perched in the loft in the dark) but a reasonably easy straight replacement job.

Cracked the problem

Yes it works. Had a couple of leaks from a badly refitted rear window. One application and it has stopped the leaks. Hopefully it’ll last so I don’t have to get the window refitted or worse, replaced.
