Leonardo, an artist for all times, unequaled for his mind !
Oh so much more to Da Vinci than I ever knew ! The man was a genius, he was interested in every facet of the universe ! He has fewer paintings because of all the STUDYING he did with all the great MINDS of his time ! And of course the "powers that be" weren't always a great help, weren't always paying him what was owed. He was really into the phenomenal illusions that the royalty were so fond of for entertainments too. He spent a good share of his time producing huge colorful extravaganzas like our cirque du soleils ! And he was extremely in demand because he was so good at it with the chemicals, explosions, the costumes so expensive, the painted backdrops and scenes, just amazing ! Wish we could have seen it !

It is rare to buy an Alencon style lace of this quality for this price, and it is a border style lace in a beautiful blush color, perfect for wedding garments!

a quality lace
I'm often impressed by the quality of the cotton lace from China. It is a heavy cotton lace which gives it an antique appearance, a venecian look that is so valuable to those who are sewing, to create the same quality garments of yesteryear, but at an affordable price! Genuine antique lace has jumped to a ridiculous high, too high for most home sewers like myself. I can only hope that these NEW lace makers will always favor us with the good quality and good prices!
