The price was great and it is a factory part in working condition... HOWEVER it was not really designed to be replaced. The part is held in position by a bracket that is secured to the palm rest by many plastic pins (like plastic rivets) which are melted at the factory making it nearly impossible to extract without destroying something. I managed to cut the holding bracket along the sides and then had to glue the bracket back together. There are way too many pins to try and cut the tops off and if you did you may not be able to secure the bracket to the palm rest when you were done. I don't recommend trying to replace it for anyone who is not prepared to possibly do more damage to their computer.

3.0" White LED COB Projector Lamps

These things are BLINDING! The listing says "Fog/Driving" lamps but I have not tried them in fog. The halo ring is bright enough to use as a DRL and the COB LED behind it definitely lights up the road. My only gripe is that the wiring for the halo does not exit the housing in the same location ad the projector light and it has its own ground wire. Having the wires exposed does not make for a neat and tidy installation in some cases. Aside from that these are a great value and easy to install with the included mounting brackets. Soldering skills are a must as you will need to extend the pigtail wires and/or install plugs.
