Almost Too Amazing
3 of 7 found this helpful I decided to get one of these after a friend shot some video with hers. It was so much clearer than my little Sony HD camcorder and she wasn't even using the 4K setting! I selected "not easy to use" because there are so many settings, but you can choose the defaults, which should be fine for most videos. The unit seems very well made.
Here's the difficult part - editing and burning copies. I think that the 4K resolution is too data heavy for my old laptop. Using the Sony software, the picture and sound are so jittery that I can't split the video into sections. I have an external Blu-Ray burner that worked well with my old videos, but I haven't been able to burn new discs in 4K format. Luckily, the camcorder has a setting that records both in 4K and mp4 at the same time, so I'm going to try to edit the video in this lower resolution setting, but I got this camcorder to make videos in higher resolution.
I'm either going to have to get a new laptop or record in regular HD until I figure this out. Might have to get a 4K TV too!

Tesla Model 3 PPF 3M
We purchased a Tesla Model 3 in June 2023 and after viewing YouTube videos about what to consider getting, paint protection film (PPF) was highly recommended. I was worried that it would be difficult to install and it was. I have done many projects around the house and am pretty careful about things like this. More than $300 down the drain if it didn't go well, so I thought about it for several days before ordering it. Professional installation would cost $1,000 in addition to the film, so I thought I would try it with a friend.
Pre-cut to your car is the way to go - don't order sheets of the PPF and then hope to cut it just right for your hood, side mirrors, etc.
The instructions from North Tints were pretty clear, however, we decided to try a side mirror first, and the instructions said to use the alcohol solution first, then the Dawn solution, then the alcohol solution. I would say to skip the first alcohol solution first and spray the Dawn solution generously and keep that surface wet and slippery until you have the piece in position, then tack down a corner. Don't be afraid to re-do it if it looks funny. It's easy to do when you first apply it and almost impossible after a few hours.
If you are handy and willing to be patient and learn to work with the material, this could work for you. If you aren't sure you are game to try this and have the money to pay someone else to do it, find a place that does tinting and wrapping and do the project through them.

Good quality, easy to set up
Good quality, easy to set up. My old laptop speakers stopped working, so I had to look around for a new set. My wife had bought this set a while back and hers works very well. I am very pleased with the sound. The price was decent too.
