20’ curly cord
I’m here because I bought one of these beefy curly cords and I like it so much I gave to my son for one of his birthday presents. I remember back in the days some 40 years ago, curly cords were all one could find and they were across the line just junk. Then straight cords came out and kinda followed the same progression from decent cords costing little to recently lots of lower priced cords that were junk and the next step in quality costing a heck of a lot more. I was so pleased to find first of all a cord that was well made and that it was curly! I saw someone complain that the cord was only about 6feet long unless you stretched it, and right after I went, duh, I realized there was a generation that has never had a curly cord. I haven’t seen many in the past 20 years and will buying another today. I missed them. It is only six feet or so before flexed, but you won’t have 16’ of straight cord laying on the floor and they are really are handy. Besides, they come in purple! Ha! Fantastic!

Plum blossom appliqué
Ok, they are smaller than they appear in the sale photos, but the pictures fall short of highlighting how pretty they are. Both the wife and I thought what the heck, those look lovely let’s get a couple. So we bought one or two in each color and waited. We were so surprised when they came weeks early and like I said are just sooo pretty! She want them on some clothing and I’m going to part one out and put it on a guitar strap!

Grover champion friction tuners
Got a banjo for Christmas. Thought it would improve the functionality as the tuners that came on it were lacking. Thought these tuners would be easy to install as all the reviews said they basically just drop in. I had to basically thin the thickness of the hole in order to get the two parts to match up. Ended up spending over an hour on each tuner to get them in. I do regret installing them and feel any of the other junk tuners awash on eBay would have made a cleaner install but after I started digging and thinning to put in the first of what I really believed would just need minor modification to install, I was committed . What really gets me is that all this could have been avoided if the carton simply stated,”good on headstocks with thickness up to XX.XXmm .”
